Tropical Autumn Cocktail Dress

Introducing a new one of a kind cocktail dress inspired by the tropics.

I first found this small piece of beautifully printed fabric a few years ago in a vintage store and immediately thought of 1940s post war movies set in Casablanca or the South Pacific. A bombshell in cottons and khakis, singing in bars surrounded by grinning GI's.

The dark army green of the print is decorated with tropical birds of paradise and pastel florals which make this all the more interesting as you look at the dress. There was just enough to design the skirt which was complimented by a golden silk bodice. Green crystal glass beads were then hand embellished over the bodice here at the studio and blended at the waist.

The design is subtle at first and slowly draws you in as you pick up the details with a hint of sparkle.

Pink Flamingos Dress

Ok, not the John the Waters film and in slightly better taste is our 50's inspired novelty summer dress in bright turquoise blue with a saturated pink leggy flamingos print. Style up with white gloves, barbie white stilettos or pointed flats and a preppy ponytail. Perfect for a Summer event or Vegas.

Summer Cycling Dress

Just imagine cycling around this Summer in our new Summer Bicycles Dress printed all over with yellow bicycles. Well, in reality it's more of a strolling gracefully with your bicycle by your side in a pair of yellow kitten heels with a long chiffon scarf trailing behind you on the beach front. But, the print is fabulous all the same. x

A Postcard From Rome

Arrived in my inbox this morning a gorgeous postcard from the lovely Alice wearing one of our 'one of a kind' dresses, whilst on her travels in Rome. What a delight. She's gaining many compliments too, we wish her lots more fabulous adventures on her travels around Europe in her dress! x

Golden Blue Cocktail Dress

I found this vintage piece of Japanese fabric a few years ago and have used it for tiny bits of trimming, Christmas wrapping, bags etc and have finally used it to it's full potential in a glittering 50's silhouetted cocktail dress complete with nets. Luckily I saved just enough.
The seams have all been bound in satin, as the fabric looks so sparkling inside I didn't want to hide it under a lining. Trimmed with a metallic grosgrain ribbon bow to finish.
