Another fabulous customer photo, this time from the beautiful Yvette all the way in Singapore and looking completely stunning in her little, black lace illusion dress. I love the ultra chic finger waves, oversized black rose and my favourite splash of red lipstick. Perfect! 

The Black lace Prom Dress

Here is the customer photo from one of my all time favourite dresses the black lace cocktail dress. The lace was an amazing find and had the most gorgeous vintage texture to it with hand corded detailing. 

I love the way she has styled her whole look complete with Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes, Audrey bun and pearl earrings. Super gorgeous and glam and again I am really amazed by the styling talents of school leavers to look so incredibly chic.This was a custom order with added lace to our classic little black silk cocktail dress. 

Red Lace Bubble Dress

As always I'm way behind on the updates. I've been inundated with orders and enquiries since the Perfect Wedding feature. (of which I have only just managed to pick up in smiths and was again angered at the fact that now there is no longer a Borders, you can only buy the mainstream magazines, missing out on the gorgeousness of  Lula and the like!) 

Orders and busyness (business!)  is great, super wonderful and it all comes at once and then goes and then comes and then goes, the life of an independent designer is never orderly. Just as I thought I had some free time to read my new books too! 

This little red lace dress was finished by Anna a few weeks ago and I have just go round to photographing this gorgeously chic cocktail number. The bodice is layered with soft lace tulle over red rustling taffeta and trimmed in a satin binding. The skirt has a great structured bubble shape sculpted with nets underneath and gathers from the waist. 

Just imagine with a 1950s satin swing coat and lace peep toes. Available as a one off in our etsy shop. 

Lace Cocktail Dress

A little black rose addition to the collection with gorgeous lace tulle overlay, inspired once again by 1950s cocktail dresses. Another one off made with vintage fabrics, ready for the party season! Lots of West Side Story style dancing nets are attached underneath the full circle skirt to add volume and the bodice is super boned for a tight fit.

Black Lace Dress

This was a fantastic custom order, the kind I could do all day long! A lovely creative customer wanting something gorgeously vintage and in keeping with our style.

The dress was made in a soft black lace (nothing scratchy for the skin) and is designed with black silk slip underneath complete with boning and a fitted waist.

 The dress just screams demure 1940's glamour and I am very pleased with this one.  (if you haven't already guessed!)

And the inside just for good measure. As this was unlined lace it was important to keep the inside light and tidy so we bound the main waist seams and french seamed the rest.
