Back in February Kim our gorgeous friend got married and of course we made her dress.

We love getting the chance to photograph our customers outside their events where we can strip away everyone else and focus just on the beautiful woman and her dress. A couple of weeks ago we took a short walk to the Cathedral and photographed Kim in her dress.
The styling was simple, I love big tousled hair and classic make up, Kim chose the perfect shade of Ruby Woo. We remembered to take photos during the original fittings and did a final few shots in our bridal room to create a great set of images.
Kim has a really strong sense of style and knew she wanted separates, sheer lace and a huge skirt. Together we designed the final dress and Anna worked on Kim's dress creating a perfect fit.

Kim's bodice was a ballet wrap design in French Chantilly lace, cropped at the waist with full length fitted sleeves and a plunging neckline. Kim totally got the idea of maintaining your style for your wedding, making sure you are you and not dressed up as a 'bride'.
The skirt was cut with a smooth front panel and full voluminous skirt. For dancing at the wedding Kim hitched her skirt up at the front to create a gorgeous graduated hemline which showed off her Nike's.

Kim's wrap top was worn with a bustier on the day and is a custom version of our Babette ballet wrap top. The skirt was custom designed and made for Kim. Prices from £800.

Vanessa's smokey grey dress ....

(I'm resisting 'shad of grey' here, my girls are way too intelligent for it to even be a joke).
Today I'm going to show this first instalment from a colour popping, Pom Pom filled wedding up North. This is where that soft grey tulle dress you all love originated and Vanessa's beautiful deep grey and coral wedding dress was a dream come true to work on.

The dress made in a floating soft tulle in smokey grey was an inspiration making all colours around it totally pop. Vanessa art directed her wedding to the finest detail and this was also the case with the wardrobe, she really knew how she wanted everything to look resulting in some stunning ideas.

Vanessa's dress was then studded with coral Swarovski crystals, trimmed with metallic gold edging to the underskirt and finished with a coral silk belt all the match the gorgeous Rachel Simpson silk and leather shoes.

Coming up next in the 'Vanessa series' will be the bridesmaids .......... These are totally gonna brighten your day :)

N.B A few of you may have noticed that things have been quiet online for a bit and this is down to us loosing complete internet connection for 30 days! The mast has been damaged and the lovely 'three mobile' are less that quick about fixing it. It's still not how it should be but we are slowly getting up to date out here in the countryside.

More photos have just arrived from another bride! Daisy, based in the USA ordered her dress late last year and it makes me so happy when I see the pictures, these are really, really awesome images and doesn't she look incredible, perfectly fifties!
The wedding took place at Boston's New England Aquarium which looks really exciting as a venue, grand and fun in one place.
The photographer who took these super gorgeous wedding images is Suzanne Camarata and you can check out all her other work here along with her stunning portrait work.
The beautiful flowers which include daisies for Daisy are just the right amount and style for the dress and so pretty. The florist is Sarah's Garden based in Massachusetts's. Daisy's hair was fixed suitably vintage style by Daleen Scott at Pyara Aveda in Harvard Square, Cambridge, USA  and she did her own make up which is perfect and most often the best way.

This was a lovely commission for the prom dress but this time in a very soft tulle and in a blush blue colour made from layering pale blues and creams together. It looks like Daisy had a wonderful wedding day in the dress and it has been worn just how I would have wanted. Huge thanks to Daisy!
