The 1960s is the space age, modernist era with short skirt lengths, modern fabrics and conceptual cuts. I love the cape back styles and smooth wool fabrics that look modern but are still natural. Couture designers such a Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent for Dior created the most beautiful designs with sculptural cuts.
I love the Hollywood weddings of the 1960s, the dresses are so chic and understated. Quite the opposite of the traditional big white wedding dress.
